Biometric Design
Completed PCB design for electronics fingerprint system. The systems consist of DSP based modules capable of interfacing with the various sensors.
High-speed Server
Completed system architecture and generated design documentation for a high-speed server. Five processing blades including: Internet packet processing, network interface, security, and storage were designed. In addition, a high-speed backplane was designed to provide interconnection between the blades.
DSP Design
Designed a number of DSP IP and implemented VHDL code successfully for digital Feed Forward Equalizer and adaptive antenna. These were complex implementations including floating point and fixed point algorithm for multiply and accumulate, FIR and 1024 FFT.
WCDMA RTL
Transmitter and Remote terminal receiver modems mathematics blocks representation was converted to RTL blocks ready for the designer to implement in HDL code. Circuits implemented including PN generator, tracking correlators, tracking PLLs, tracking DLLs, tracking code generator, acquisition correlators, acquisition Gold-Code generator, frequency error circuit.
Fiber to Token-Ring Converter
Completed system design, and generated schematics documentation and wrote HDL code for fiber optic-to-token ring converter. The ring was designed to interface with the fiber optic transceiver and a necessary conversion was made to deliver a ring protocol free of error.
Wired Based Broadband
Completed a circuit design and for many OC-3, STS-1, STM-1, DS1 and E1 systems. These systems targeted echo cancel, multiplexing, digital cross connect and routing applications. Various RTL designs were completed to fulfill Bellcore or ITU specification.
Supervisory Controller
Completed and implemented an RF modem for LMDS supervisory system. The system was designed to provide communications between the base station and antenna systems to monitor performance of the antenna sectors.
Wireless Modem
Completed design and implemented digital modem circuit to interface with spread spectrum base band for data communications application. Data rate is variable from 64 kb/s to 1024 kb/s. In addition, a digital voice channel was also implemented. Time Division Duplex (TDD) concept was successfully implemented.
Telephony Systems
Designed and implemented line cards targeted for a telephony system and broadband data communications modem. These modules including subscriber line interface (FXS) and exchange office interface (FXO). Other applications implemented including agile data system configure on-the-fly at rate of 64 kb/s to 1024 kb/s.
Radio Transceivers
Number of RF transceivers from 150 MHz to 3 GHz was successfully designed, implemented and deployed for various applications.
